Greene County Medical Center will honor its fourth DAISY Award winner at a ceremony Thursday, Nov. 19, at 10 am in the long term care activity room.
Nominees include Sarah Borgeson, Karen Carman, Jeanne Hoening, Desiree Monaghan, Katie Palmer, Abby Skoglund and Kelsey Stumbo.
Previous Greene County Medical Center DAISY Award recipients include Jenny Taylor, director of clinical services; public health nurse Laine Custer; and Lori Harrah, director of nursing in the long term care unit.
The internationally-known DAISY Award has been used to recognize thousands of “extraordinary nurses” for exceptional patient care for the past 15 years. More than 1,700 medical facilities worldwide honor nurses with the Daisy Award.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the ceremony. Light refreshments will be served.
